Berry + Pumpkin Seed Oatmeal

It’s been getting kind of cold here in New York, so today I decided to make some oatmeal. I love oatmeal because 1. It’s healthy 2. It’s easy to make 3. It’s really versatile-you can throw in whatever you’re craving.

I really wanted something sweet today so I decided to throw in lotssss o berries. This is an easy breakfast filled with fiber from the oatmeal and fruit, and (good) fat and protein from the pumpkin seeds.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of organic rolled oats (Or you can purchase Bob’s Red Mill Oats if you’re gluten free)

2/3 cup of blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries

1/8 cup of pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup of almond milk

Directions:

Boil 1 cup of water over medium heat and stir in oats

Once the oats are fully boiled, pour in the berries

Finally, top with the pumpkin seeds and almond milk

Enjoy! Xx
