I think it’s important to know that the length of time you workout for is not what matters-it’s the quality of your workout.
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) are timed sessions of intense cardio exercises followed by short recovery times. You’ll be doing things like squats, burpees, mountain climbers, etc. The sessions usually last about 30 minutes, and you will absolutely want to die about 7 minutes in-but stick with it!! You will feel amazing afterwards. HIIT is as much a mental game as it is physical.
The great thing about HIIT is that it can be done at home on your own time. There are a ton of youtube videos out there that you can follow. However, I do recommend taking the classes at the gym or doing videos with a friend because then there’s less of a chance you’ll just stop halfway through. Maybe that’s just me though.
If you combine HIIT with weight training and a healthy diet, I can promise that you’ll see results not only in how you look, but more importantly in you feel.
